Studio Philosophy
Studio Philosophy
“I don’t teach a method. I teach to a person.” – Amy Wang-Hiller
Teaching philosophy is more important. For every student to feel included.
At the heart of my teaching is flexibility, empathy, and identity-affirming instruction. My own journey with progressive paralysis informs my practice—I teach with deep respect for neurodivergence, disability, and nontraditional pathways in music. Whether you play standing, seated, with adaptive gear, or alternative bow holds, we’ll find what works for you.
