Real Progress, Real Support
Learning the violin is a very personal thing, and each person’s path is different. At Wang-Hiller Violin Studio, individualized violin lessons are made to fit you perfectly. With Amy’s help, you’ll learn how to play well, express yourself, and feel good about your music at your own speed.
Every lesson is aware of trauma and includes people with disabilities. Our lessons are also flexible for those with chronic illnesses, neurodivergence, or injuries that are healing. FAQs
How often do you have lessons?
Weekly lessons are highly recommended—they provide the structure, feedback, and encouragement needed for real progress. Biweekly lessons may work in certain situations, but they often don’t offer enough support for developing consistent technique. Most students benefit from having someone check in weekly to guide their practice and keep momentum going between sessions.
How long do lessons last?
30 min for the beginner, 45-60 min recommended for intermediate to advanced, A Supported program might need 45min.
